FBC's Resurrection Celebration Service

 Sunday April 4 – 10:00 a.m. Resurrection Celebration Service
In recent years FBC has prepared two Easter services: an outdoor Resurrection Celebration at Union Wharf as a gift to the community and our Easter Celebration service at FBC.
In the last few years the service at Union Wharf has suffered due to horizontal rain and gale force winds. We needed a solution.   
This year FBC combines the same "in church worship" with an "in the community" location that will be snug and dry whatever the weather.
Just like Jesus' tomb on Easter morning the First Baptist Church building will be empty as we gather downtown at the NORTHWEST MARITIME CENTER'S  "upper room" at 10:00 am for music, readings, singing, laughter and a retelling of the story of the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.
The setting is beautiful, as is the view. As always Coffee and baked goodies will abound as we end the Lenten fast and celebrate well the promise of eternal life and the promised restoration of all things.
